Tooth Infection Resolved
Occasionally root canal therapy does not completely eliminate symptoms from a problematic tooth. Rather than removing the tooth, there are options to re-disinfect the roots in order to save the tooth.
Retreat Root Canal
The process is similar to root canal therapy, but is more complicated because old filling material must be removed from the tooth and roots. The success of this treatment is also high (80%), but slightly less than root canal therapy due to a long standing infection of resistant bacteria that are more difficult to remove.
